On the website of Samaritan House, a battered women's shelter and advocacy group in Virginia Beach, there is an "escape button" that users can click, ostensibly, if their abuser sneaks up behind them while they are on the site.
Taylor Armstrong, the star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," could probably relate. Her former husband, who was also featured on the show, beat her when the cameras weren't rolling, she said, but ultimately, Armstrong couldn't hide the abuse.
