Marc Leishman, a PGA Tour golfer who resides in Virginia Beach and tied for second in the British Open last week, will serve as pro ambassador for the Pro-Am Classic at Bayville Golf Club in Virginia Beach. And several pro golfers are set to join him there.
There are 18 other PGA players scheduled to attend the Sept. 29 charity event.
All proceeds from the pro-am - presented by Merrill Lynch and The Somers Eden Group - will benefit Toby's Dream Foundation, which helps make dreams come true for local children who suffer with life-threatening illnesses.
