In September, the CIVIC Leadership Institute will extend to a new generation.
Old Dominion University faculty members are in the midst of choosing an initial pool of 20 students to participate in the pilot class of CIVIC Scholars, a student version of CIVIC. Nominees will be rising juniors and seniors, said Cathy Lewis, executive director of the CIVIC Leadership Institute.
